Experienced Senior Dairy Cattle Farm Worker required to assist with the supervision of daily operations and management of livestock. <h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>Competitive remuneration available - between $70,000 and $85,000 per annum.</li><li>Great working environment and ability to contribute to the success of the farm.</li><li>Strong culture of training and support.</li><li>Flexible shift schedules.</li><li>Opportunities for advancement.</li></ul> <h3>Task & responsibilities</h3>Working collaboratively with your team to achieve consistent compliance with guidelines and policy, responsibilities of this role will include:<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Assist in the planning of all aspects of the milk production process including supervision and coordination of the milking shed and staff.&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate and implement reproductive programs, including artificial insemination and herd fertility.</li><li>Implement calf heath and calving procedures, including conducting internal assessments throughout pregnancy.&nbsp;</li><li>Plan and manage pastures and crops for livestock production and develop livestock feeding plans.&nbsp;</li><li>Analyse product to ensure internal and external quality standards are maintained.</li><li>Supervise animal health programs, handle sick or injured animals and maintain an optimally healthy environment for the livestock consistent with standards and guidelines.&nbsp;</li><li>Supervise work routines, quality achievement and general staff performance of Dairy Cattle Farm Operators and Farm Hands.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensuring documentation is completed and maintained, meeting internal and external standards and accurate stock and inventory control.&nbsp;</li><li>Operate milking plant and equipment in a safe manner.</li><li>Reading and recording instrument information e.g. milk vat temperatures and cow numbers and matching cow ID to calves to produce a quality milk outcome.</li><li>Calf feeding, including tubing colostrum.</li><li>Assisting with and/or performing irrigation works.</li><li>Transport, handle, prepare, apply and store chemicals to legislative and internal requirements.&nbsp;</li><li>Operate and supervise the maintenance of farm and dairy shed-related vehicles, plant and equipment and maintain sheds, fixtures and fences where appropriate.</li><li>Contribute to and implement Occupational Health and Safety (OH&amp;S) requirements.</li><li>Coordinate the response to emergencies for both occupational health and safety emergencies and animal welfare emergencies.</li></ul> <h3>Qualification & experience</h3>What we value most in our staff are qualities such as care for animals, honesty, reliability, and meticulous attention to detail.&nbsp; In addition to these qualities, to be successful in your application, you will have:<ul><li>An AQF Certificate III (or equivalent) plus 2 years recent and relevant work experience OR a minimum of 3 years of recent and relevant work experience in lieu of the formal qualification.</li><li>Experience in the various responsibilities listed above.</li><li>An exceptional work ethic.</li><li>Ability to problem solve.</li><li>A strong focus on safety and compliance.</li><li>Physically fit to undertake the responsibilities listed above.</li><li>Demonstrable experience adhering to regulations, policy and procedure.</li><li>Intermediate communication skills – both verbal and written and an empathetic nature.</li><li>Ability to work well within a team environment, interacting respectfully at all times.</li><li>Current drivers' license.</li><li>Ability to work a variety of shifts.</li><li>Mobile plant operation tickets and/or experience preferred.</li><li>Ability to take direction, whilst using your initiative and working autonomously where required also.</li><li>A passion for working with animals.</li><li>A great attitude!</li></ul>

The Practice: Valiant Primary Health is a medical centre with well-fitted-out facility:&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Full-time position (38 hours per week)&nbsp;</li><li>Patient &amp; staff parking is available.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul>Location: Port Macquarie is a busy location, the existing patient base draws from nearby locations, and there is a significant shortage of General Practitioners across the area.&nbsp; <h3>Benefits</h3>The GP will be in charge of his/her patient billing and share revenue ranging between 50 to 70% depending on experience and qualification. The successful applicant can expect to have a minimum guaranteed income of anything between $110000 to $130000 plus super (depending on experience) as his/her income from the billings. <h3>Task & responsibilities</h3><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Provide skilled health assessment, diagnosis and treatment services to patients.&nbsp;</li><li>Order diagnostic tests as needed, checking and informing patients of results as per clinic procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>Refer patients appropriately to other providers if their needs exceed the range of care, you are able to provide.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain professional knowledge and standards through continuing medical education and personal professional development.</li><li>Demonstrate a working knowledge of practice policies and procedures, health service relevant legislation, and RACGP standards of General Practice.</li><li>Participate in activities, tasks and audits in support of practice accreditation, and attend clinical and non-clinical staff meeting, when scheduled.</li></ul> <h3>Qualification & experience</h3><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.&nbsp;</li><li>Should have a base degree, following by suitable internship, with previous experience in General Practice.</li><li>A CPR Certificate is an advantage.&nbsp;</li><li>Appropriate AHPRA registration to practice as a General Practitioner.&nbsp;</li></ul>
